Hyrule's Inferno 2.

The great city's clock still clicks down... though the dead lie waste over the ruined lands of Hyrule, time's unbiased nature continues to flow smoothly. Days had passed since the young goddess Zelda left the Temple of Time - it was 3:46 p.m.- and Zelda did not know what she was to do. Effortlessly, she had tried to find any survivors or perhaps a soul she could grant peace in the afterlife. However, despite Zelda's determination, she was unable to appease these desires. The Demon King ensured the world of Hyrule knew their beloved goddess was a fraud. She spent the last seven days wandering mindlessly amongst the now still, empty, and frozen landscape. The ever-present sense of a brutal storm towers over Zelda from an uncertain and ashamed heaven as an intrusive wind whispers in and out of the spaces between the tall, dead trees that remain of the Lost Woods. Miles of clean white snow rest comfortably over the bloodstained soil without any care. Walking blindly through t...

Haley's Krueger.

Like many, I found the 2010 reboot of A Nightmare On Elm Street disappointing. From cheap jump scares, bag CGI, shameful copying of the iconic scenes from the original, and not giving much to justify its existence except as a hollow cash grab. That being said, I will admit there is only one element that shouldn't be overlooked: Jackie Earl Haley as the dream demon, Freddy Krueger. Yes, there is no replacing Robert Englund, but Haley's unique approach to the character, making him more perverted and disturbing than before, is definitely intriguing. Haley definitely needs a second chance...

Fun Horror Movie Fact.

Did you know that, initially, in the third season of Ash vs. The Evil Dead, Kelly Maxwell was to be revealed as Ash Williams's biological daughter? However, due to creative conflicts between the producers, this idea was scrapped. In my opinion, it was a missed opportunity.

Saw X: One Year Later.

I know I'm late to the party, but let's get down to business. After years of poor-quality sequels, convoluted storylines, and an over-reliance on shock gore, Saw X is a step in the right direction. While it's not perfect, with a predictable and safe story, Saw X's strength lies in the relationship between John Krammer and Amanda Young. However, the ending, which seemed to set up the less impressive sequels in the series, was a disappointment. I'm usually not a fan of retcons in Horror movie franchises, but I can't help but wish that Saw X had taken a more intimate and darker path, focusing on Amanda Young's journey. Despite these reservations, Saw X is a solid 7/10 and deserves its place in the series.

Hyrule's Inferno.

The Newly Born Kingdom Of Hyrule Burned!!! The once vibrant green of lush grass was now a canvas of raging flames, a testament to the overwhelming destruction. Once a serene blue, the sky was now a swirling mass of malevolence, its former purity lost to an eternal night of decay. The dying shape of the Great Deku Tree painfully cried out as the salty taste of sorrow guided the purity of the Kokiri Forest into the hellishly tangy aroma of death's misery, consuming all signs of happiness and innocence. Splashing violently within the boiling waters that housed the folks of Zora's Domain, dozens of tormented Zoras painfully fought for their salvation as their flesh liquefied off their now softened bones, whistling over the hot air, corrupt arrows of blasphemy servants swiftly shot down that soul who dared to flee in terror. Screaming and begging for mercy or a quick death, the Zora were denied such wishes. For they were meant to experience such great suffering for what amusement re...
