Saw X: One Year Later.

I know I'm late to the party, but let's get down to business. After years of poor-quality sequels, convoluted storylines, and an over-reliance on shock gore, Saw X is a step in the right direction. While it's not perfect, with a predictable and safe story, Saw X's strength lies in the relationship between John Krammer and Amanda Young. However, the ending, which seemed to set up the less impressive sequels in the series, was a disappointment. I'm usually not a fan of retcons in Horror movie franchises, but I can't help but wish that Saw X had taken a more intimate and darker path, focusing on Amanda Young's journey. Despite these reservations, Saw X is a solid 7/10 and deserves its place in the series.
