Return To Silent Hill: Quick Review.

Well, here we are again. Another new year, another horror video game adaptation that fails to respect the source material, leaving fans disappointed.

Return to Silent Hill follows the tragic life of James Sunderland as he descends into madness over the loss of his girlfriend, Mary. In what should have been a simple tale about grief, loss, and forgiveness, the film seems more interested in cheap copy-and-pasting from the games than in crafting a story that works as a film and a tribute to Konami's beloved franchise.

It's really a miracle how many times studios can get this wrong. It's not a problem having a low budget; it's about filmmakers making creative choices that inspire confidence. Sadly, Return To Silent Hill feels like a missed chance, leaving fans feeling disappointed once again. 2/10.
