A Pawn For Darkness: Character Bio.


His fate has been penned by the rotten corpse of a slumbering evil, born in life as an uncertain infant awaiting destiny to ascend him into Heaven's warm skies, but his life would soon be reforged into a horrible fate.
 
Enduring centuries of torment within the shadow realm, Yraisl, the last of the elven race, is driven by an intense desire to escape the icy clutches of his tomb. His true name was lost in the malevolence of the past, but he is now known as Kyle, a name given to him by a young fairy. This intense desire, a longing for the warmth of the sun and the freedom of the open sky, is what keeps him going despite the odds. Despite her mischievous nature, the young fairy ignites a spark of hope in Kyle's heart, leading him to yearn for freedom.

Deprived of one eye and the freedom we all cherish, Kyle devises a daring plan to infiltrate a forbidden tomb that holds sway over the realm of the dead, a place of immense power and peril. The tomb, shrouded in mystery and danger, is a test of Kyle's courage and determination. However, in what could be viewed as a cruel prank, the very evil that concealed Kyle from the sun is watching and awaiting him with open arms.

Meet Kyle, the protagonist of my upcoming horror short, The Visitor, who possesses the new origins of a famous classic monster.

The Unholy Three: Faith Or Flesh?

 A thunderously loud noise broke the night's silence over the northern sea. Struggling to remain afloat, one lone and unsafely small fishing boat, its once sturdy wooden skeleton now weakened and splintered, had been drafted far beyond its recommendations and spent the last three days arrogantly seeking to claim the many of the sea's sacred treasures, rare and valuable fish that only the bravest sailors dare to hunt, for food and wealth. Bouncing to and fro, large waves clash against the boat, causing its trio of residents to be tossed and jerked unnaturally about the narrow deck. Then, out of nowhere, the waters fell disturbingly silent as a clean, pale moon illuminated the slowly slumbering water of the northern sea, a stark reminder of the sea's unpredictable nature.
