A Specter Of The Undead: New Origin.

The child, Sara, who had distanced herself from a father she barely knew, was about to discover the true nature of his enigmatic existence. A Specter Of The Undead, her father, a master of concealment, had allowed his daughter to find solace in the romantic streets of Paris, France. Little did she know, this was all part of his plan to nurture a false sense of independence and confidence within her naive heart.

If God had given cruel abomination a name, it had long since been forgotten. This sadistic individual, known to the sheep-like hearts of old, was spawned from the dissatisfaction of a once loyal servant to the holy ghost. Falsely believing that humanity's sin could never be forgiven and should be cured by extinguishing the bloodlines who were marinated in Hell's wishes, regardless of whether any family member was pure or not. Naturally offending Heaven and our divine creator, this servant was excommunicated from God's wisdom and light, forever falling into the eternal pits of the void, only to experience hunger that would never be satisfied. But this was not the end. For what could be viewed as a cruel prank, this servant would walk upon the Earth's pure soils again - to corrupt and inflict pain upon the flesh of humanity.

Fiction claims that this agent of darkness lives only within the dangerous and frozen landscapes of the Carpathian Mountains, preying and breeding upon the innocent souls of Transylvania. However, this was not the only realm ruled over by the fallen servant. Buried deep beneath the majestic streets of Paris, France, there is a place - a place devoid of life, a construction built from the dead, a shrine to please that cruel heart that the Romanians call Nosferatu.

On October 18th, 14 days before Halloween, the first sighting occurred. The Paris police department was alerted to a peculiar complaint about a strange man in Black disturbing the peace with macabre gifts-severed limbs arranged in grotesque patterns, and threatening encounters-cryptic messages written in blood. Ironically, with the Halloween season looming, the public quickly dismissed it as a mere sick youth's prank. Soon, their arrogance was cut short when the badly mutilated corpse of a young female was discovered in her parents' home, transforming the October season into a true nightmare. Now, as an untrusting media pens a contrived tale to frighten modern ears, the introverted spirit of this unholy killer's daughter fears that he will come to take her back... 

This is the backstory for my reimagining of the famous vampire, Dracula/Nosferatu, who will be the main antagonist of Tales Of The Macabre.
